It is here that we leave our friends.

To find out more about their extraordinary night in Montmartre and trust me there are more adventures that await the three do look to purchase this most wonderful memoir.

My experiences of Montmartre may not live up to the 1890s edition but I still enjoy spending evenings/nights there albeit walking a different timeline.

These amazing venues and experiences may have disappeared over time but their skeletons still remain and it's worth researching where these places once stood and visit and smile at what was.

As for me I return to Paris and Montmartre on the 30th May 2014 and so the excitement has already kicked in as I attempt to conjure up the memories of the people and places I love so much.

I wonder if Jane Avril frequented the places that are mentioned? I suspect that she seldom did. But, this was the Paris and the Montmartre of her time and so would no doubt have felt the vibe and spirit of the place.
