I want to visit Paris in 2011.

The Problem!

After visits in 2000, 2007, 2009 and a visit booked in 2010 - how do I convince my better half that a visit to Paris in 2011 is justified? Hmmm........I can't, darn it!
The "Craig, you're too nostalgic you need to have a change and go somewhere different" speech awaited me.
I needed a plan and so after some considerable thought a recent conversation went like this.
"Hang on...."
"Have I not always said that I want to run a marathon before my 40th Birthday?"
"Yes....so?"
"Didn't I always say that I could never run the London Marathon as it just does not inspire me?"
"Yes....so?"
"Am I not 40 in November 2010?"
"Yes....so?"
"Isn't there a Paris marathon every April?"
"Yes....so?"
"So doesn't it make perfect sense to run the Paris marathon that will inspire me in April 2011 as I will be 40?"
"Yes....So, I guess you win!"

Woohoo!! Paris 2011 here I come.

Now then Just have to devise a plan for 2012!
